come make me sad
—
I don’t understand why I miss you. I know, I know… I asked you to come back. But this is not the first time. You came, but for what? Shatter me, grind me? What have I done to you? I asked you to come back because I remembered you were making me feel good. I miss you, but only until you arrive.
And then you arrive. Breaking into my house, invading through my windows. Again. And before I could see you, you were gone, leaving the shrapnel on the floor and my door open.
Come rain. Come make me sad again. The longing has already returned.
