mirror’s beach

“It goes for 6km of asphalt; when finished, turn left and go another 20km of dirt”. So it was, in fits, holes and ravines.
After the 2nd cramp, they arrived at Praia do Espelho, but the weather was closed, threatening to rain hard, light, cold and hot, all at the same time. The tide was already high, atypical in the morning, so they lost the natural pools that formed there. A day to forget.
When they returned, the old guide asked them: - How was it? Did you like it?
- Like? What was there to like? Two cramps, closed weather, high tide. We didn’t enjoy anything!
- Uhm… So you didn’t make the right path. See the way in the mirror, and tomorrow I’ll ask again how it went.
They went to sleep.
The next day, they reflected on the path as a reflection of what they should walk. Then they came back for 50km of asphalt, when it started, they turned right and came back for another 9km of asphalt.
They never returned.
